A public consultation has been launched on revised proposals for a new hotel development in Stretford.
Developers are bringing forward plans for a new, high quality hotel, car parking space and landscaping at land off Barton Road.
The height of the hotel building has been reduced by two storeys and the number of bedrooms within the building have been reduced by 25%.
Two stolen bikes have been seized by local Pcso’s in Lostock today. It is believed the bikes have been causing ASB issues in the area racing about etc. They were spotted hidden in a nearby field, both ‘hot wired’ and one confirmed stolen from Wolverhampton.

This substation has been a bit a worry for a few years now. This looks a really interesting application. Apart from the neglect caused by lack of use, there’s quite an attractive building there. If it can be made to work as a residential conversion, it looks an exciting development.
